Earlier today, the members of the Nigerian Institute of Builders ( Anambra sector) paid a courtesy call to ACTDA and to the Managing Director in particular to seek collaboration with the Authority.
Speaking during the meeting, the leader and Spokesperson of the group, Builder Kenneth Nduka described ACTDA as a beautiful and well nurtured dream created by the State Government to ensure that the Master plan of Awka Capital Territory is adhered to and applauded the Managing Director of ACTDA for the works he has done within his 3 months of assumption of office.
“there are noticeable changes in the capital city since the new Managing Director of ACTDA assumed the office”, he said.
Builder Nduka further described NIOB as an association of builders trained to product manage the successful delivery of healthy buildings for the good of the environment and the society, adding that builders are trained to translate the ideas and ideals of a particular structure and frowned that the roles are not properly assigned to them in the built industry, hence the need for the collaboration.

” we are here to submit our selves as willing tools to help the Authority achieve their mandate of ridding the state of sick and collapsing buildings “
In response the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA),Mr Ossy Onuko promised to partner with the group and also enjoined them to match their words with actions to see to the actualization of the dreams of Mr Governor in making Awka and it’s environs a liveable and prosperous homeland.(MOI)
